Emergency Collecting Pit – ECP C

The Emergency Collecting Pit C (ECP C) has a 2-shell structure (“pit-in-pit”) made of heavy-duty refractory bricks and KS 91 foam ceramic. The effective rear ventilation keeps the temperature load in the concrete foundation low, any steam will be quickly discharged. Single components or modules can often be reused and such reducing repair costs. The individual chamber design allows very high space utilization even with complex pit geometries.
The ECP C is the best choice for medium and large collection volumes (e.g. holding furnaces) and / or highest temperature stress (e.g. superheated steel casting, Ni melt, …) and can be combined with any furnace street.
